Ardrishaig Harbour has a close association with Crinan Canal, if the Canal had not been built Ardrishaig would have had no harbour. Ardrishaig Pier was first opened in 1873. The harbour is arranged into two parts: (1) North side is where the Crinan Canal Locks are and the Timber Link is active. (2) further South are areas for pontoons and anchoring of boats.
